90'S Themed 25th Birthday Party

I can't believe I turn 25 this week! Man, time really flies after you turn 21 lol. For this big birthday milestone, I got to share it with one of my best friends! We decided to throw a 90s themed party, complete with a photobooth, a candy bar, hawaiian punch, polaroids, scrunchies, jello-shots and the most rockin' playlist ever (linked at the end of this post). Most of the photos came out either blurry or completely blown out, but hey, it fits the theme right? ;)

We had so much fun decorating for this. Remember those paper chains we used to make as kids? We just had to have those in super bright fun colors. I remember making them as a kid for countdowns to Christmas and birthdays. We would take a chain link off for everyday. So fun.

For our photobooth, we had to have some props. Complete with a JT headshot from his NSYNC days, a furby, Topanga from Boy Meets World, Fresh Prince, an early days cell phone, etc.

We had Twister and a Bop-it, beer pong, jello-shots and a grown up version of hawaiian punch. Our candy bar had Nerds, Ring Pops, Hubba Bubba, Laffy Taffy, and those fruit roll-ups that have the "tongue tattoos".

I was so impressed with everyones outfits. We really went all out. Overalls, plaid shirts, chokers, pigtails, pegged jeans, oh my. Btw, has anyone been to Forever21 lately...? It's like the 90s threw up in there. You could've literally grabbed anything and it would've worked for the theme.

I have the best friends. Thanks so much to everyone who came and made the day so special. It was a blast. I linked the playlist I made below if you wanna check it out ;)

Much love <3
