We got married on September 2nd, the Friday over Labor Day weekend. It was such a gorgeous day outside. Not too hot, and not too cold. A perfect overcast with the sun shining at just the right moments. I was so beyond thankful. Since we had our venue picked out very early on, the vibe of the day was pretty clear to us. We wanted to embrace the beauty of the venue itself, surrounded by the beautiful grounds, tall trees, hills, and greenery. We highlighted the sage greens, the neutral creams with a hint of gold. We wanted a timeless, romantic feel and that is exactly how it came to be. We had a year to plan, which meant all the DIY projects I could possibly fit in to that time frame. I can’t capture everything in one post, so I am breaking things down, up first: The Details.
We decided to throw a 90s themed party, complete with a photobooth, a candy bar, hawaiian punch, polaroids, scrunchies, jello-shots and the most rockin' playlist ever.
Since I have started this blog, I have had the opportunity to meet some extraordinary, inspiring women. It's not often you meet someone who is so passionate about what they do, that it just radiates from their being. I had the privilege of meeting the woman behind Maeve's All Natural and try her prodcuts.

Me and two of my dear friends went to visit a giant sunflower field in Avon, Ohio called Maria's Field of Hope. It was a place meant to be sad and celebratory at the same time.
Me and my my hair haven't always gotten along. When I was younger, everyone had thin, straight, blonde hair and I had thick, wavy brunette hair. I never had any urge to go blonde—that would be a disaster—but I did always want straighter hair. As I got older, I learned to love my hair.
Oh man do I love lipstick! I think that a little lipstick can do wonders for your mood. Lipstick can pull any sort of look together, or add a little something extra if you don't have a ton of accessories on.
I am so excited to share my first photoshoot that completely captured my heart. This wonderful woman I work with was looking to have a Momma and Baby photoshoot with her gorgeous new baby River Lee.
