Autumn Harvest Chex Mix Two Ways: Sweet & Savory

In need of a sweet or savory snack to get you in the fall spirit ?! Look no further !

Supplies You'll Need for this Project

SAVORY CHEX MIX

• 3 cups Chex Mix
• 1 cup honey mustard pretzels
• 1 cup regular pretzels
• 1 cup raisins
• 1/2 cup honey roasted almonds
• 1/2 cup pumpkin seeds
• 1/2 cup pistachios

"THE SAUCE"

• 1 cup vegetable oil
• 2TBS garlic
• 4 tsp Worcestershire sauce
• 2 TBS honey
• 4 tsp paprika
• 4 tsp oregano
• pinch of cayenne pepper (or to your desire)

STEPS

  1. Mix together all dry ingredients, set aside
  2. On a stove top, mix together "the sauce" ingredients
  3. Whisk together over med heat for 5 minutes
  4. Pour "sauce" over mixture and stir
  5. Spread on a parchment paper lined baking sheet
  6. Bake at 350° for 1 hour.

SWEET CHEX MIX

• 3 cups Cinnamon Toast Crunch
• 1 cup walnuts
• 1 cup dried cranberries
• 2 cups pretzels
• 1 cup caramel popcorn

"THE SAUCE"

• 1/3 cup maple syrup
• 1/4 cup corn syrup
• 1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
• 1 tsp cinnamon
• 1/2 tsp vanilla

• melt a half bag of chocolate chips to drizzle on top (after baked)

STEPS

  1. Mix together all dry ingredients, set aside
  2. On a stove top, mix together "the sauce" ingredients
  3. Whisk together over medium heat for 5 minutes
  4. Pour the "sauce" over mixture and stir
  5. Spread on a parchment paper lined baking sheet
  6. Bake at 350° for 40 minutes.
  7. Drizzle melted chocolate over mix once removed from oven.
  8. Add coconut flakes if desired
